About to the halfway point…
Not such exciting blog content,I know.
I did start the Boteh Scarf!
I’m having so much fun! Since Friday morning, I have only wanted to work on this. But I really should put some time in on Big Pink. I’m using a skein of Yarntini merino/tencel sock yarn in the Mint Mojito colorway, from last year’s Yarntini Club. I’m really not sure if I am correctly following the directions for the end of the triangle and start of the double treble crochet row, but it looks OK so I’m sticking with it.
Plenty of kitty action around Chez Sknitty! We let Topaz out with us in the front yard, a rare treat for him, while I was taking pictures… sniff, sniff.
And a rare shot of Solel, sitting on me while I snooze, as she often does. She’s usually so skittish that she moves before you can take a picture, but N was able to capture this on his iPhone before she jumped down.
Back to the hook!
Big Pink is looking very pretty! I love the scarf you are making – great use for some of the scads of sock yarn skeins we have all collected. You happy hooker you!
Wow, the crocheting’s really hooked you, hasn’t it?! (sorry, just couldn’t resist, altho’ I clearly should have)
soleil looks bigger than i remember and soooo cute……….topaz needs a leash….worry about cars etc….love scarf {great colors} xoxoxo kittiness pics make me happy !!!! meow what is that great material she is lying on ?????
Big Pink is looking great. Cute kitty pics. We haven’t seen Solel in awhile. She must be very camera shy! She looks very comfy sitting on you. 🙂
it’s growing quick!!!!!
WIPs are looking great – that scarf pattern does look like fun!
Hehehe…my doggies sleep next to me in bed, too 🙂
hey- Big Pink is coming along so well! It’s going to be such a great blanket!
love big pink too !!!!!!
Look at all the crochet action. Yay. Big Pink is…really pink, isn’t it? I like the striped effect, and how it tones down the variegation. And I recognize that Yarntini. 🙂 Pretty greens.
*scritches* to the furry ones
I bet that the Boteh scarf is terribly addictive. I love crochet as a little knitting break – it feels kind of like cheating (in a good way) using only one hook!
You’ve really been bit by the crochet bug huh? I *love* the blanket. It looks great!
